Deuteronomy 31:6 AMP)
Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.
Caleb provides another example to emulate, one who is entirely relatable. This young man had the backbone to go along with his big heart proved pivotal to God's plans. After leaving Egypt, God commanded the Israelites to cross the Jordan River and take possession of the Promised Land; thus, the people of Israel sent out scouts to investigate. After their journey, Caleb's companions were convinced that they could not conquer the place where God called them. There were far too many hurdles, dangers, high costs, sacrifices, and giants in the land. As soon as they got into the red zone, fear paralyzed them. Caleb's friends thought it looked more like 111 giants than 111 defenders.
The unfortunate majority won, and God sentenced His people to wander in the desert for forty years. As a reward for his loyalty, Caleb was one of just two men of his generation to reach the land of promise. He was unique in one respect:
Numbers 14:24 (MSG) says:
But my servant Caleb—this is a different story. He has a different spirit; he follows me passionately. I’ll bring him into the land that he scouted, and his children will inherit it.
Caleb found the freedom and hope God called him to inherit. He was loyal and trustworthy.
Beloved, God is directing you to move to a different location. This brand-new location is open for conquest. It's a matter of do you have the intestinal fortitude and backbone?
Here's Today’s Prayer
Good Morning our Beloved Transcendent Father.
Father, You are the provider of everything we require to acquire Caleb's undivided heart and intestinal fortitude, and we thank you for that. With all sincerity, we pray, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Aamen.
If you need to talk, we are here for you.
