Beloved followers of Christian House of Faith, C H O F, may the peace and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you as you partake of this Daily Manna.
C H O F Ministry’s Bible Verse for Today: "Be strong and courageous; don't be terrified or afraid of them. For the Lord your God is the one who will go with you; he will not leave you or abandon you."
(Deuteronomy 31:6 - The Christian Standard Bible).
Moses, nearing the end of his life, shares this divinely inspired message with Joshua and the people of Israel. Moses wants them to know that their journey towards the Promised Land will be fraught with challenges, but they should not be afraid. God is their constant companion and will never abandon them, giving them the courage to face each new day.
Fear is an omnipresent reality, often lurking at the edges of our dreams and accomplishments. Many see fear as a roadblock, an impassable barrier that halts progress. But for those of us blessed with the lens of faith, we see it differently. Faith doesn't erase fear but provides the courage to triumph over it. Courage doesn't silence the whispers of doubt; rather, it amplifies the resolute voice within that says, "I will try again tomorrow."
The words of Moses resonate here, not as a battle cry but as a heartfelt assurance. God has promised to accompany us, to embolden us in the face of our fears. The children of Israel stood on the precipice of new beginnings, and Moses knew that courage would be their most valuable asset. Similarly, each day presents us with new opportunities, and it is courage—sourced from our unwavering faith—that enables us to seize them.
When today has been rife with 'no's,' when doors seem to close at every turn, recall that God walks beside you. You are not alone in your fears or your endeavors. His presence fuels your courage, and it is this courage that allows you to greet every new morning as a second chance.
"Courage isn't the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. It's the quiet voice at the end of the day that says, 'I will try again tomorrow', even when today has been full of no's."
