Stop Mitigating

2 Peter 1:4 (NLT)
And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature…
We've all had hopes and ambitions we've held on to, but it's easy to lose faith that we'll ever achieve them. It's even easier for God's promises to us to be mitigated. "I was hoping to get better, but I've learned to live with this sickness." "I was believing for a house, but this apartment is okay." "I don't enjoy this job, but it pays the bills."

To become everything God has called you to be, you must maintain a burning resolve that declares, "I will not accept anything less than what God has promised." In other words, you won't compromise on quality nor settle for mediocrity. It may be more challenging and taking longer than you imagined, but what God promised you is still on the way — not a mitigated version, not a make-do promotion, not a partial healing, and not a correlation that is good enough. God's revelations to us are not diluted in any way.
Here's Today's Prayer

Good Morning our Beloved Transcendent Father.

We are grateful to You for the wonderful and priceless promises that You have bestowed upon us, which make it possible for us to participate in Your life and the world around us. We are grateful that You don't change the terms of what You have pledged. We will not accept anything less than what You promised us. With all sincerity, we pray, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.
