Don't Let Guilt Rule Your Life

Bishop, W. F. Houston, Jr
James 4:7 (AMP)

7 So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.
The Bible verse for today tells us to stand up to the enemy. To resist means to not agree with what he's telling you and instead believe what God says about you. When you hear him whispering, "You're done. If someone tells you, "You've made too many mistakes," you can say, "I’m not going there. – In the name of Jesus, THE DEVIL IS A LIE!!!" God's forgiveness is more significant than any error. My most productive, creative, prolific years are yet in front of me."
Don't cooperate with the adversary; instead, retaliate against him. Whenever he tells you things like, "You don't deserve to be blessed. Look at all you've accomplished, and oppose his advances by proclaiming, "I’m the righteousness of God." I'm pardoned. I'm redeemed." If your adversary tells you, "Well, you blew it. You should have known better, and now you're responsible for your actions," you should remind him, "There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." I went to God and pleaded for forgiveness, and not only did He forgive me, but now it's like it never happened. In the name of Jesus, I vow to lead a life that isn't ruled by guilt but filled with confidence and security, holy, blameless, virtuous, and honorable. Amen? Aaamen.
Here's Today's Prayer
Good Morning our Beloved Transcendent Father.
Lord, when the accuser tries to heap a burden of guilt on us, we can answer with authority, "Condemnation is not welcome here." [The accuser's] attempt to pile blame on us is unacceptable. Jesus was the one who paid the debt. We are by no means flawless, but we will not let past mistakes carry over into the present. We are pardoned.

With all sincerity, we pray, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Aaamen."
