Anchored in Hope

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." - Hebrews 6:19
"Do you have a hope that's based on wishes, or a hope that's based on promises?"
In our lives, we often find ourselves holding onto two different types of hope. One is a hope that's rooted in our desires and wishes , a hope that's fragile and fleeting. This kind of hope can lead to disappointment and disillusionment when things don't go as planned.
But there's another kind of hope, a hope that's anchored in the promises of God 🙏🏿 , a hope that's unshakeable and eternal. This hope is not based on our circumstances, but on the character of our Heavenly Father .

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:1

Let's choose to hold onto the hope that's grounded in God's promises, a hope that's firm and unwavering . May we trust in His goodness and sovereignty, even when our circumstances seem uncertai
n.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13
🙏🏿
Let's fix our eyes on the One who is our hope, and trust in His plans for o
ur lives 🤲🏿.

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." - Hebrews 11:1
May we live with a hope that's not based on our wishes, but on the promises of our loving God.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 🙏🏿

May this hope be the anchor of our souls, holding us fast and secure in the midst of life's st
orms.
